What kind of medical tests shall I undergo before surgery? 30 days before surgery the following medical tests shall be executed: morphology and blood clotting system. There is a possibility to execute the above tests in our clinic.
What shall I take with me to the clinic? There are towels, wrappers and hair dryers at your disposal. You are advised to take some slippers with you. In the case of breast enlarging or uplifting, we recommend bringing some sweatshirts or cardigans with buttons or a zipper in the front to allow more comfort of putting them on.
Is consulting a specialist necessary before the surgery? An interview with the plastic surgeon is always necessary when planning a surgery. Only then may the doctor provide you with exhaustive answers concerning the surgery and explain how to proceed in order to achieve the expected result. The plastic surgeon will also present you all recommendations and contraindications concerning the surgery. The counseling shall take place in our clinic on mondays and thursays from 4 p.m. till 5 p.m.
When are the surgical stitches removed? The stitches are removed according to the physician’s recommendations stated in the information card presented after the surgery in our clinic. In general, the stitches shall be removed as follows:
What size of silicone implants shall I select?
During the counsel, the physician together with the patient shall individually select both the size and the shape of the prosthesis. We have very high, medium and flat profile implants as well as anatomical ones. We possess the bank of prostheses of various companies such as Mentor, Nagor, McGhan, Silimed.
How long shall I wait to operate my breast after child’s delivery?
The patient may undergo surgery at least six months upon the completion of natural breast-feeding.
